    Shri Hanwant Rai Kochhar founded the company

    Shalimar exported its first product, a gas stove to Fiji

    Shalimar started exporting bicyle parts to Africa

    Shalimar became a leading name in Bicycle components

  • 1975

    Shalimar starts exporting automotive parts to Saudi Arabia.

  • 1980

    Starts manufacturing of pressure die casting components

  • 1988

    Establises its first sales office overseas

  • 1991

    Shalimar makes in-roads in the UK market.

    Assigns its first distributor in Africa

  • 1994

    Establishes its first warehouse collabration in Southern Africa

    Launches its first interational brand AUSETO

    Starts exporting products to the Middle East

    Launches its first exlcusive brand for Engine components

    Starts its operations in Dubai via its partners

Rtn. Hanwant Rai Kochhar Founder & Chairman

A Visionary and Rotarian, Shri Hanwant Rai Kochhar has over 50 years experience in international trade. A masters in commerce he has vast experience in starting multiple businesses and pays uttermost importantce to values and ehtics.

Rajan Kochhar Managing Director & Director- Finance & Operations

A fellow Rotarian and a Masters in Commerce from Delhi University, he has a vast amount of experience in supply chain services and procurement and now heads the finance and operations for the group.
